Aeshna did her schooling in the arts from Vasant Valley School, New Delhi, followed by Communication Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

She started her career as a documentary producer at Mike Pandey’s Riverbank Studios, followed by assistant producer/writer at NDTV Metronation, and then chief editor & designer at Hay House Publishers India.

Aeshna has edited over 20 books and designed over 90 book covers. Her documentary film Three Seasons Past won the viewer’s choice award at the Srishti Youth Collective Film Festival in 2007. She won an Indian Publisher’s Guild award in 2009 for her design of Thank You, Cancer! by Megha Bajaj and again in 2011 for The Best Thing About You is You! by Anupam Kher. In 2010 she was chosen as one of 12 Indian ‘new age’ publishers for an exchange program by the German Book Office to further publishing ties between India and Germany.
